Just think that, the bigger the size of the texture, the bigger of quality it is. Or if you need more pixels, a higher resolution, doesn't necessarily need to be multiple of four. No no, they are always merged together, it's the way the game engine of rendering. Do you want to change the environment in some way These mods are used to do so and are equivalent to Sims 2 neighbourhood mods. "So with default resolution of that sum texture, we should make skins and such with low resolutions like 512x512 so they won't be merged down, am I right? Would that anyhow improve quality xD ?" Hi fellow Simmers, Im after a Default skin for my Sims that includes male and female genitalia since I prefer to play without the censor/mosaic. Baby Skin Default Replacement Actually, I like the default Sims 3 hair textures, so I use them as in-game hairs and I also have a ton of store hairs so I have a large, matching selection.
Yes, this is correct, in the case this mod is applied the limit will be equal to the one you downloaded. And finally add an option in the game to instantly make males get erections.
"So no matter how big we make textures(even standard 1024x1024 textures are big) they'll be scaled down to fit resolution of 2048x2048, am I right?" Install this to see your sims in all their glory including replacement non barbie doll skins, real nipples for females and ahem manly parts for males Also install special sliders so you can craft your mans penis any way YOU want these appear in the Head/Ears General section. I think I might need to write some post with all this information, so that things get clearer. I can do with 256 instead, that would allow more resolutions to be chosen. What I can do, is that the current sizes, I match a 512 pixel sum, which, for me, is significative.
That is the size limit, if you open a Sim rendered texture in the memory cache you will see that everything being rendered on a Sim, is inside one single texture, a sum. If you enlarge the texture yourself it would not make much difference, as the pixels would just disperse in the texture. Larger sizes would only need to be made if you need more detail or the texture size itself is limited due to UV Map size. I would need to talk with someone at MTS I will try to contact HP before they make any rules on this.įor example, 2560x2560 doesn't necessarily mean that the texture size for a upload need to be 2560x2560.ġ024x1024 would still show it full detail. Flajko, the lowest (default) is already 2048x2048
